It's better than Rynerson Stadium.

Saw this too - Big news. Wasn't sure it was official but the guy is with the Detroit News I now see.

As I expected and posted - USFL news timed to supersede XFL news (spring FB wars) - XFL Orlando Wednesday. Followed by USFL Thursday.

I expect a whole lot of USFL news over the next few weeks now that Moose Johnston will focus on the USFL.

Hopefully we get news about how the Stars will fill their QB room and a full reveal of the Showboats uniform among this news.

What about the Ford renovations? That was the given reason they were out of the running for the would-have-been neutral site AFCCG.

Not that you can't work around them if it's small-scale enough, Oregon State did this past year

This may make it easier to work around as well, only need it for games

Detroit News: Hub confirmed (more or less)

Post by 4th&long »

https://www.detroitnews.com/story/sport ... 832456007/

>> USFL's Michigan Panthers will play at Ford Field in 2023; EMU may host practices

The United States Football League, which will launch its second season in April, is set to announce Thursday that the Michigan Panthers will play their home games at Ford Field in 2023, according to a source with direct knowledge of the league's plans.

The source spoke on condition of anonymity because an official announcement hasn't been made yet. That announcement is set for Thursday, with Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan in attendance.<<

Somethings in the article are just inaccurate - as we know it was by year 3 or 4 for all teams not Yr 2...

>> The eight-team USFL played all of its regular-season games in Birmingham, Alabama, during the inaugural season of 2022, to save money, with the plan to move into each of the city's markets by 2023. Instead, it decided on a slower branch-off, with multiple hub cities set to host multiple teams in 2023.<<

Semi in accurate, I believe he interviewed Brian woods before the season and woods mentioned the best case scenario/goal is all teams in markets so I think he probably just took that as to much of a promise than it really was but it was mentioned
