I’m also picking Birmingham in a 34-31 nail biter. Brandon Aubrey the difference here. A good competitive close game is exactly what Fox needs of course.
You nearly nailed that score prediction. Off by 1 point for each team.

Also, the Reddit game thread had 2400 comments, the most since Generals vs Stallions (3700 comments) and Panthers vs Gamblers (2800 comments) week 1, both of which had over 2 million viewers. The USFL also trended 3rd and 4th on Twitter all game. I really hope it's closer to 2 million than 1 million.

Good info Sam and great to hear. Let's hope so. I'd love to see them beat the Phillies on SNB too.

Having a set schedule for the game week in advance and in primetime hopefully helped. We'll see - its summer time.

Gopher totally nailed the score and nail biter aspect. NICE! :ugeek:

Championship: Ratings Actuals - Preliminary

Post by 4th&long »

Gotta assume the 1900 hour was United by Football or a combo.

https://www.spoilertv.com/2022/07/tv-ra ... -2022.html

20:00 hour 1178k
21:00 hour 1312 k

Average 1245k
Phillies game ended at end of 21st hour. Hopefully they go up in 22nd hour and any revision is UP not down. But so far not bad.

those are good Prelims, the prelims are usually lower than the real number and the 4th quarter is when USFL had 3 of the top 5 trending topics. It’ll be interesting to see what the pique is, wonder if it ever hit 2 million

I would rather be closer on my score prediction than my tv numbers prediction. I hope I’m low of course. I just don’t know how many more people would tune in with so much going on outside this holiday weekend. We shall soon see!

2 million is looking actually possible for the real ratings as prelims are almost always low

That's when the Sat Night Baseball on ESPN Phillies v STL was over. Meaning No phillies on SNB its likely 2mm 1.6-2mm for full game.

I'm also very interested in the peak. The USFL was trending big time at the end of the game. #USFLChampionship was #1, #GiddyUp was #6, Scooby Wright was #8, Cookus #11, Birmingham Stallions #12, KJ Costello #25, and Stars #42. I'd have to believe they cracked 2M by the end.

It was a great game to end on and lots of positive momentum. I could see the peak hitting 2 million but not the average. I'm guessing a 1.3 million, though I'd be pleasantly surprised to see 1.5 million overall.
