Both games seem to be a good matchup, but this one intrigues me more as a network game on a Saturday night. Of course, SNL is in reruns, so that won’t be a problem. 😂

Only explanation I can come up with is FOX and NBC had a draft thing (like FOX has with ESPN for the Big XII and Big Ten) and FOX took Stars/Generals, as they haven't had NJ for a month and PHI only twice.

A while back I said the NFL missed an opportunity by putting the Jags in the HOF game when it should have been either the Saints or Panthers (Sam Mills). Stars/Generals being on NBC, which has the game in six weeks, would at least evoke some memories of Mills as a Star when they get to HOF promos--even if the teams/league aren't really the same.

I hinted at a week one matchup being a USFL Championship Game preview..........................

Yep, Stars vs. Breakers (in a psuedo-Sam Mills memorial), guess I should go all in

Of all the things (on-field) that you could point to as a negative for the league this year--bad snaps, drops, missed field goals--the Stallions have all three, ruining a big game-opening return by Bolden

Breakers go down and punch it in, starting with a one-handed I'll-do-it-if-you-can't catch by Taywan Taylor, cause, of course. They now have almost as many points as they did in week eight.

Bo Scarbrough finding new life in the screen game. Fun fact: Scarbrough's last NFL game to date (six for 31) was the game when Russell blew up and went total Julian Washington.

Tie game as Mitchell doesn't drop this one.

Yes, crowd looks a little bigger.

This might be a high scoring game.
