I lost interest in the USFL in the last two weeks. However, playoffs! I will be watching.

Ya, last 2 weeks games didn’t have a ton of meaning since playoffs were basically set

Reminds me of the first year I reffed Hoopfest, right across from the bar that had ESPN wall-to-wall Arena League playoffs on.
All in all, the 2007-08 era of Arena wasn't much (although it was the mid 80s NFL compared to the shell it ended up as), but at least it had that.

The AFL hit record attendance those 2 years and while they lost their NBC deal, I feel the fan base had matured in those few years. The 08 playoff game between the Dragons and Soul to this day was the best pro sports experience I've ever had.
