With Birm limping at QB with injuries and J'mar playing so-so I see a low scoring high running close game. Taking Houston +12.5

Sounds like a real winner, I imagine a hypothetical spot where Burmeister has Corbin on for a bit and annoys him to the point where Corbin misidentifies (perhaps on purpose) Braxton Burmeister as Paul's son and asks whether the NCAA gave him another year so he can transfer again.

This is where Big E (PB's fellow Hawkeye) would have been better, although he's probably at G6

You know even if Birmingham only got a field goal out of this I can't imagine a 17-play drive is good on the defense

I would reconsider that 4th and 2 in retrospect.

Even though it only resulted in field goals, you still forced the defense into defending long drives your first two times out, plus what's the risk? It's not like you're fighting to host the championship game. You know whether it's Houston here, Tampa next week, or in the playoffs somebody's gonna find a way to cut off the second half spicket and then all the sudden the Stallions will be a no-half team. So it wouldn't have hurt.

Obviously Bruce Arians isn't working incognito here.

Defensive battle going into the 4th quarter 12-11 and still anyone's game.

Two minute warning and Houston is ahead by two points. Can they win this?
