A good signing by the league. A recognizable name, especially in the state of Alabama, who has some pro experience. His career has kind of stalled out so hopefully the USFL can give him a jumpstart.

>> “OJ Howard text me, Brian Robinson text me,” Scarbrough said.

He’s not fixated on reuniting with those guys in the National Football League, instead he said he’s simply trying to win for his new team.

“Feels like I’m still in the NFL, just in Birmingham, Alabama,” Scarbrough said.

Scarbrough is likely to make his Stallions debut Sunday against the Philadelphia Stars.<<

Note those Endzone Tarps Herns posted about too

Not a bad debut (7 for 25), certainly fits the bill of what they were going for with short yardage. His most carries came in late game wear-down situations so we'll see if Holtz works him in earlier from here forward.

Right. Holtz played him right. Nice start and he'll get better as season goes on.
