For those of you who think it’s great for new fledgling leagues like the USFL & XFL to unionize in the first few years, check out what’s happening in the CFL right now.

I was against it from get go just for reasons like this

CFL will play this season despite the players union being demanding. As for the USFL union, I suspect the negotiations between the Steelworkers union and USFL management are continuing, and may be continuing into the off season.

I’d like to see players treated properly, and I hope they come out even a little ahead in all of this. So far it’s not about salaries, but we know it will eventually come to that. Reading another thread, Rupert Murdoch has deep pockets. 🤔

Ya I wouldn’t expect this Union to act like a full union until year 3. From what they’ve said next year they just want to help make it easier for players to get housing and food options
