Missed opportunity, should have been Saints for Sam Mills.

Boselli was a tremendous left tackle, and a healthy one would have been right there with Ogden, Pace, and Jones for the best in the league during that period. Hell he might have been the rare example of an offensive lineman lifting a team into at least playoff contention (after Carr was the most sacked QB in the league for years). But you have two the posthumous inductees, should have been a natural (as I posted a few days back).

USFL can still draw the connection to the the old league during playoffs, especially if it naturally ends up Breakers/Stars. But it would have been nice to have that connection with the game and the ceremonies taking place four weeks after the championship game. Saints over Panthers since not only was Mills in NO for nine years and was a four-time Pro Bowler, but for the USFL connections on the Saints (Mills, Mora, Vaughan Johnson)
