Jim Popps role confirmed

“ Per @USFL on @PoppJim's recent hire as #USFL Director of Player Administration for those curious.
Popp’s chief responsibility will be overseeing the draft and monitoring player transactions on a team-by-team basis. He’ll also be responsible for maintaining a league database to monitor player transactions in-season and keeping USFL teams informed of all player movement within the League. Additionally, during the off-season, he will assist with national scouting efforts”
It looks as though Popp will be serving as kinda a guiding force for the gms/coaches of all the teams to try to guarantee a competitively balanced league and he also seems to be leading scouting.
