Correct MGB - I updated the BLUES roster post with that change earlier today. Maybe scouts at TSL practice... He'll be at Cincy minicamp, If he doesn't get signed Woods said he'll be back. That's was from an interview I saw today.

First game play pretty much what I expected, play improved as game continued and will more so in weeks 2 & 3. Broadcast got better after 20 min or so. I liked the promo work that Fox did. The Colts turf is God awful, he ALphas blended in to much with the shading - The turf shading is brutal. Like the TSL logo midfield.

Second game more exciting out of the chute.

Having watched each TSL game; overall, I'd have to say that I have been impressed with the quality of play. Obviously, there have been some rough spots but I think it shows that there are "pro" quality players who, for whatever reason, aren't currently in the NFL but can play at that level. I hope that at least some of these players get a good look by NFL teams; that alone, should keep the TSL up and running barring any dumb management mistakes.

The QB play is the weak spot - and their timing. WR etc need time to get the routes down too (Lineman esp). They need time 7-8 days isn't alot. The Saturday games need more time. An extra couple days may help a tad for Saturday's Fox game. If Fox didn't broadcast week 1 I would not have been surprised. But othing beats a real game for training though. Like in the TSL fall - the players look into it. Week 2 will be better and by week 3 no excuses.

I was watching Friday on PC -no sound while multitasking so missed the 1st half+ but the broadcast team was better than Thursday IMO for rest of game.

On a side note - I think Quinton Flowers is making a major mistake - he needs the reps, game time and exposure TSL can provide.

Agree 100% on Flowers, he will likely come to regret it.

Exactly... but that's not going to help him like a TSL season would, playing, coaching and exposure

Yep, no comparison -apples and oranges (or more correctly, kumquats!)
