>> FOX Sports has signed Jordan Palmer and Alex Faust as broadcasters for the inaugural season of The Spring League, sources tell OutKick.

The TSL will air weekdays on FS1 over the course of seven weeks and feature several former college quarterbacks, including Zach Mettenberger from LSU, J. T. Barrett from Ohio State, and Shea Patterson from the University of Michigan. The show kicks off Tuesday, October 27 at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Since playing seven seasons in the NFL, Palmer has become a renowned football guru. Palmer’s recent trainees include Joe Burrow, DeShaun Watson, Josh Allen, and Sam Darnold. In addition to his role with the TSL, Palmer could be an intriguing addition to FOX’s other football properties.

Alex Faust is the lead television play-by-play announcer of the Los Angeles Kings and calls games for NBC’s NHL package.<<

No sideline reporters will be utilized.

>> Starting Tuesday, the developmental football league will see its six teams competing in a 12-game format over the course of four weeks. The teams will play in a bubble in San Antonio and games will air Tuesday and Wednesday on Fox Sports 1. The championship is scheduled for Nov. 23.

The six teams are the Alphas, Aviators, Blues, Conquerors, Generals, and Jousters. Alex Faust will call play-by-play for Fox Sports 1 with Jordan Palmer as the game analyst. I can't find a stream. I don't believe there is anything. They are posting clips and updates on Twitter.

I will watch the FS1 game this evening.

Actually that is a good question, do you try out and get a refund or lose your cash if you don't make the cut?

For me The Spring League is all about the players. Thesee guys will get a showcase on cable television. I wonder how many will find a paying job out of this? We will see.
