That was still quite a bit lower than the 2.1 they got opening weekend in 2004, the week after the Super Bowl
I wouldn't have made the post if I didn't do a little investigating.....2.1 was the highest single week rating they achieved during the nbc years. And that was 2003 actually when Arena received the full gamut of coverage via weekly games and a studio plus max promotion.....thru 2004 and 2005....they would get 1.6 on a good week. By 2006, nbc was ready to move off it and did so pretty much.....a 1.2 for the opening weeks of 2006 plus arena attendance a good 12,200 average....doesn't indicate it would be a bad choice in my opinion. I'm betting it'd be accepted by those ectactic football fans just wanting there to be games. I'm betting it would do a 3.0 at the least on a network.

2006 was actually decent considering they were all over the place thanks to the Olympics and NHL. On Super Bowl Sunday they were counterprogramming to Rockets/Knicks on ABC (the last time to date the Super Bowl net had an NBA game before their coverage) and did a 1.2, that's floor.

TSL Try Outs for Spring 2021 Season

Post by 4th&long »

We heard on the XFL MarkCast that the TSL spring season is in MAY. Will it be on FS1? Hopefully.

They are having trying outs so that is a good sign.

>> The Spring League American football @TheSpringLeague
In partnership with @ANCcombines, #TheSpringLeague will be holding tryouts for the first time in League history. Tryouts for the 2021 spring TSL season will be held in #Houston (3/27) and #Detroit (4/12).

There's a five-week stretch (May 22-June 19) cleared from their Sat afternoon MLB, so that would be it if it is.

NBA and NHL will be in playoffs though. Of course they aren't on FS1.
