Zero chance there was only 9k. Legion Field's capacity is 71,594. The stadium was over 1/4th full and has been all year (aside from the tornado game)

Feel free to post a picture, but all the games I've seen makes it look like the upper half is 100% empty, and end zones are 100% empty, and the lower sidelines are maybe half full. That's 71594*.5*.5*.5 = 8,949.

I appreciate your attempt at advanced math but coming from someone who has seen every game this year inside the stadium I can assure you that you are wrong. The first game had a reported 17k, the lowest attendance was the tornado game which was understandable but the Orlando game exceeded 20k no doubt. Not only by the look of the stands but the noise level as well. We get over 9k at thirsty Thursday during the barons season. Birmingham has one of the top fan bases in the league. Austin Allen even said during an interview he felt like he was back in college again with the noise level and intensity of the fans.

Photo of Birmingham\Orlando attendance...you can’t tell me that’s only 13k when the stadium without the end zones holds just over 50k

Glad to know I'm wrong. Why would the league under report attendance?

Two more seats to fill.
Iron President Tom Ward and Vice President for Marketing Randy Campbell are no longer with the team. It's unclear if they were fired or left the organization voluntarily.

“Birmingham Iron president Tom Ward and vice president Randy Campbell are no longer with The Alliance,” the Alliance said in a prepared statement in response to questions about the departures. “We wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors. Jay Roberson will serve as Interim Chief Business Officer for The Iron. There will be no further comment from The Alliance.”

This league is a joke. They threw it together to beat XFL and it shows.

For a league that's had very little promotion I think it's been really impressive. They secured a $250mil commitment, the quality of play for most teams has improved every week, they've had several games moved to bigger networks, 3 out of 4 teams had their highest attendance this past weekend, etc. I think they're probably pretty happy with how things are going.

If they were going to be pleased with 15K in attendance, they would have rented smaller stadiums. Of course, that was done pre Dundon. Who knows what his expectations are.
