Agreed, very informative interview. Awesome to hear that he turned down practice squad opportunities to play in the XFL. I'm very excited to hear that he's already talking scheme with the coaches and was involved in the draft process. The Defenders are taking this seriously and playing to win. Great signs.

Dallas and Jacksonville offered Cardale a spot on their practice squads. He wants to start. He could easily take that route. Get the 120k or so on the PS and get back to square one next season. He's taking the right option. He's going to make good money too in the XFL. If he's at 495k per 10 games. He can pocket more just by being active every week and winning games.
