This article says that letting the fans call the plays in the XFL will be a stupid idea:

Except for Stoops, Trestman, Zorn and Hamilton called plays in the NFL and I don't think all three of them would give up play calling to the fans.

Bruce would be a terrible choice, IMO. We talk all the time about the XFL needs to focus on the XFL and not define itself by its relationship with the NFL.
