Re: Report - CFL to start season mid-July 99%

All seems to be possible. This is welcome news if it comes true.

Re: UFPA: CFL may not play in 2021 OR 2022

Not likely. The story was real, and came from real sources. Not made up, although it MAY have been completely wrong. What's the difference between a real story that is completely wrong and a not real story? I think I explained it well enough. It was not a lie, as you said. Came from real sources, b...

Re: UFPA: CFL may not play in 2021 OR 2022

Not likely. The story was real, and came from real sources. Not made up, although it MAY have been completely wrong. I'd like to point out that the CFL may have refuted the rumor, but they still haven't hit the field. Personally, I am a fan and would hate it if they didn't play. I will continue to r...

Re: UFPA: CFL may not play in 2021 OR 2022

I'm not following how these can both be true. The UFPA puts out a statement that says there's a "strong likelihood" that the 2021 AND 2022 seasons are going to be canceled, and now the foundation is a lack of information from the league regarding the start of training camp? If that's not ...

Re: UFPA: CFL may not play in 2021 OR 2022

Kenneth Farrow explained it on Twitter when he inferred that players had been contacting him and saying the time to report to camp was approaching, and the league had not yet contacted any players. Wouldn't this cause players to get nervous? I believe this is spawned the idea that the league would n...

Re: UFPA: CFL may not play in 2021 OR 2022

True that the CFL only answers to the CFLPA. But the UFPA claims to have inside information. That is what makes this so juicy. I hope this story is a rumor gone wild, as I would love to see the CFL hit the field in some way this year. In case you did not know, I live in Winnipeg, and the latest news...

Re: UFPA: CFL may not play in 2021 OR 2022

As Tank pointed out, the CFL has spanked the UFPA for their initial post: The UFPA has no standing with the CFL. We, of course, bargain with the CFLPA. The claims being made in its name on our upcoming season are false. We plan to play this year. We intend to play this year. And we are working very ...
