LB Christian Kuntz and CB Josh Hawkins are back on practice squads: Kuntz with the Steelers again, and Hawkins with the Lions.

With Alex Smith still out and Dwayne Haskins benched, Washington turned to BattleHawks backup QB Taylor Heinicke. He went 12-19 for 137 yards and a TD.

Scales was signed to Pitt's active roster today.

Russolino and Scales are both practice squadders; Russolino was elevated for last week's game but reverted back to the PS this week. Scales was elevated for this week's game but is still technically on the practice squad. Everything else on first blush looks good!

CB Saivion Smith was waived from Dallas's practice squad.

EDIT: Actually, he was placed on Dallas's practice squad-IR.

QB Taylor Heinicke has been promoted to Washington's active roster; WR Jeff Badet was released to make room.

Speaking of "back" - K Sergio Castillo was re-signed by the Jets...to their practice squad.
