I am happy that the current XFL is nothing like the original XFL. Nostalgia always makes one think fondly on the positives. The truth is that the original XFL was a bad sports league. It’s like team 9 has an unofficial group of practice squad players for every team.

It looks like every XFL team has 5 players each on the team. Dragons and Roughnecks are only carrying two active quarterbacks but they have quarterbacks on team nine ready to be called up like Callahan and McDade.

Good news for Dallas. Oliver Luck is doing radio row interviews in Miami and there should be a lot of promotion leading into week one.

XFLNewsHub had an article today that said that ESPN is not going to do fantasy this season. The XFL will be doing something called prop bets and that ESPN will be doing a streak for the cash feature on their site. Can someone fill me in on what this streak for the cash thing is?

The report is that Pat McAfee will work the ESPN opening game with Dallas but will then not work weekly. ESPN’s Cole Cubelic is supposed to work the field analyst role when McAfee is off.

I was really looking forward to McAfee being a weekly fixture for XFL games.
