Re: XFL Team Name and Helmet Designs posted by Blitzalytics

I went to that link and I don't know if it's because it's Twitter.......the images are blurry ....or at least they were for me. The names are predictable and generic.......but if that's what they want:.... Here's another look at the updated Sounder collection: IMG_20190709_165703.jpg The Stallions ...

Re: XFL Team Name and Helmet Designs posted by Blitzalytics

I like the LA one, but I think the name would fit better in Houston or Dallas. I don't like any of the other ones really. The logos just don't look great.

Re: XFL Show posts Mock XFL TV Schedule

Personally, I'd like to have LA vs. STL later in the season because it will probably be a good draw for fans. And we need to maintain interest. One thing the AAF did really well for a startup league was maintain solid TV viewership, especially considering the channels they were shown on (CBS Sports,...

Re: St Louis Summer Showcase

Former Nebraska Quarterback Tommy Armstrong received an invite to workout, but as a safety. He initially balked at the invite and didn’t accept. The league may have pulled the invite Probably it's because he wanted to play QB. He wasn't awful in college by any means. He'd probably be an okay backup...

Re: St Louis Summer Showcase

All the schools in The Missouri pipeline should be fully represented. The Big 10 schools will be well represented for sure. These are the only names that I have so far confirmed for The STL Showcase: CB- Channing Stribling- Michigan DE- Austin Larkin- Purdue OG- Oni Omoile- Iowa State CB- Malik Boy...

Re: St Louis Summer Showcase

Well in the past the showcases have had players from good local schools. Kony Ealy, who was at the Houston showcase, is probably the best player to come out of Mizzou in the last five years who isn't in the NFL. So we might not see a ton of talent from Mizzou at this showcase. There will probably be...

Re: Potential NFL Quarterbacks that The XFL will target after September cuts

I remember. People were anointing Luis Perez after week one. People like Benjamin Albright. Some had him pegged as the AAF’s answer to Kurt Warner. That opinion changed after a few weeks. Perez has talent and he can still be developed but I have a hard time seeing him as a Tier-one myself. It’s pos...

Re: Potential NFL Quarterbacks that The XFL will target after September cuts

He had a nice Week 1, if my memory isn't failing me, but he was a middling AAF quarterback overall. That should not translate to being an XFL Tier 1. https://www.footballdb.com/stats/stats.html?mode=P&lg=AAF I remember. People were anointing Luis Perez after week one. Re: CFL 2019 Season

I appreciate that it's different. Makes it fun in a way that the AAF, for example, was lacking. But yeah, two and outs are rough. The AAF lacked any innovation. Besides eliminating the kickoff, not allowing more than five rushers and using 2001 XFL camera angles. I liked their onside conversion ide...
