Re: Lowered expectations for the XFL’s eight assigned quarterbacks

While those aren't as good as Cardale Jones, Devlin Hodges, etc. Silvers, Mallett, Landry Jones, Perez, and Savage are a solid group. If Manziel maybe were to be involved (which of course is just rumors) then that would be six solid Tier One QBs. Some other names that you may be forgetting from the ...

Re: XFL Mock Draft Thread

Personally, I'd be ecstatic if we got Silvers, as he was, in my opinion, the best AAF QB over the last three weeks of the season. I'd also go after either Ja'Quan Gardner, Jhurell Pressley, or Reece Horn in the skill position draft.

Anybody know who the LA Wildcats would want with their #1 overall O-lineman pick? Because I have no clue.
My knowledge of the O-Line prospects in this draft is pretty limited, but I would go after John Kling III, who was probably the best AAF O-Lineman.

Re: XFL Opening home attendance

STL will be out in force, dude. We're arguably the best sports city in the country, on average at least, and we're hungry for football again. The idea that we didn't support the Rams is ridiculous. Look at the Greatest Show on Turf era, when the Dome was one of the best atmospheres in the league.

Re: Will Ryan Mallett still be in the draft?

Is it felony DUI? If not, than he's going to get a look. If yes, his career's over... which is exactly what the XFL does NOT need: its best prospects disqualifying themselves. As the AAF showed, you can't build a league around Mike Bercovici's and Luis Perez's and expect it to be good football. Ber...

Re: What are your eight XFL Tier One Quarterbacks?

He's mentioned it in an interview... I'd say look up his videos. Googled multiple interviews and listened to multiple other interviews, can't find a single time when Luck or any XFL front office official said " All 8 tier 1 signings will be QBs." And honestly if they pay Silver 250K simply because ...

Re: What are your eight XFL Tier One Quarterbacks?

First of all I would argue that not all Tier 1 players must be QBs. There are plenty of QBs who have received invites that would allow for some other position to be filled first (i.e. LA signing Shawn Oakman and then drafting Ryan Mallett). But, for the sake of argument, my eight are: Landry Jones B...

Re: The St. Louis BattleHawks win our XFL Team Logo Bracket

My main issue with the poll was the fact that they put New York and Houston in the same matchup instead of having one of them go up against DC and the other against Tampa.

Re: Another Tier 1 QB Signed

Man, I hope not. I know he looked good in the AAF, but signing AAF guys to the Tier 1 contracts completely undermines the narrative of the XFL raising the bar for talent. EDIT: I have not seen that anywhere else and I'd take most of the information peddled by these types of sites with a big grain o...
