Re: G Parks: The cold, hard truth about the hurdles facing XFL 3.0

Greg, I have to agree totally with FootballYoda; yours was a totally tough read but very honest. I guess my biggest hope is not to be disappointed AGAIN for a third time. I really believe in the concept of Spring Football but this maybe the last gasp for a very long time. It was such a refreshing ch...

Re: The Rock owned XFL needs to address the Elephant in the room: Social Justice

We got so tired of the announcers commenting on the social justice issue during MNF that we just muted them. We'll do the same to the XFL if they follow suit. It is suppised to be "For the Love of Football" and for the fans - at least it was...

Re: The Rock owned XFL needs to address the Elephant in the room: Social Justice

I just can't see a player signed by the XFL "opting out" of playing in an alt league for a shot at the NFL. Would a MiLB player do that?

Re: Top Two Cities for Expansion (and their names)

Ok, to add to the speculation, I choose the Birmingham Iron (assuming it can be used) and the SF Earthquakes or just plain Quakes.

Re: Top Two Cities for Expansion (and their names)

Call me crazy but I say SF and Birmingham,; Birmingham will bend over backwards with some sweet deals for the XFL IMO.

Re: Will the XFL play in a Covid free bubble?

What the NFL and other major sports leagues can't or won't realize is that their "wokeness" threatens to turn off (and subsequently tune out) fans end masse. Regardless of your political leanings or views on the current protests, the average fan enjoys his favorite sport as a escapist diversion to t...

Re: What changes do you hope new ownership brings?

This is a great topic for certain. I also prefer the Fox style broadcasts and hope to see it continue. I like the concept of the OT rule but need to see it more in action to be sure. I really like the kickoffs but not too keen on the punt one. I may be alone on this next one but I would like to see ...

Re: Cheerleaders and/or Mascots by year 3?

The fans don't need cheerleaders, they are an annoying distraction IMO. I am ambivalent about mascots but really don't like cheerleaders in professional sports. They are fine for high school and college but not the pros.
