Re: TSL in NFL > 2 Jousters signed by Seahawks & Bucs

Scarlett was a relative big-name get for TSL, and he could make it with the Hawks depending on how his pass pro is. Although I'd imagine this is more for a preseason body as the backfield is crowded even with Rashaad Penny up in the air.

Re: Cleveland MLB team takes the Guardians name

Guardians doesn't even sound like a baseball name. Of course you could argue Browns--which was only almost 70 years ago that they ceased to be (the first Browns move to Baltimore) but I guess there's gotta be some straw to grasp at here. Wonder if WFT takes advantage of the media now apparently dict...

Re: XFL officially delays start until 2023

Have to disagree here MGB, many things were both promised, intimated, and implied by the new XFL ownership group; not so much with the USFL owners. I am not specifically referring to the lack of on field play and yearly start date pushbacks, but more in the communications and engagement areas. The ...

I didn't try to equate otherwise other than the fact that their websites have the same amount of useful info at the moment

Re: XFL officially delays start until 2023

I know all that, but what's next? When XFL1.0 announced a deal with NBC over Wrestlemania weekend in 2000, there were little bits of news leading up the team reveals in August. When XFL2.0 announced with ESPN and FOX two years ago, same deal. Now the USFL's website is effectively a placeholder (as w...

Re: XFL officially delays start until 2023

While the XFL deserves plenty of 😡😡😡😡😡 for some serious naivete don't just jump on them. The USFL's got about six weeks (being generous) to announce something big, there's been nothing since the announcement and the only mention of any relative investment was in the SA News Express this week about J...

Hence why I wondered if Larry Scott secretly moved up north

Re: CFL to implement revenue sharing

I don't know what the hell this is supposed to prove, like "we'll show the XFL, we're going to have revenue sharing, they'll wish they never talked to us, MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!" . Seriously, between the really? Edmonton spike and this--seemingly a response to the MLSE report, this is comi...

Re: Mitchell: XFL looking at Mexico, potentially Canada, for 2023 franchises

Nothing burger. Sorry, but the XFL needs to focus on putting eight teams on the field. Yes we know XFL 3.0 wants to go international, as they said when they tried to partner with the CFL, but they haven’t played a down. Maybe start with that? Until they do, they really don’t exist. Mitchell is desp...

Re: Mitchell: XFL looking at Mexico, potentially Canada, for 2023 franchises

Brings back memory of the UFL being keen on Monterrey before an increased cartel presence blew that up. A lesser degree but the NAL had a team in Monterrey (had some decent talent, even Jacoby Jones) and then the Puebla quake happened, although it's pretty much accepted they hid behind it (IRT not ...
