Re: Mitchell: XFL looking at Mexico, potentially Canada, for 2023 franchises

Nothing burger. Sorry, but the XFL needs to focus on putting eight teams on the field. Yes we know XFL 3.0 wants to go international, as they said when they tried to partner with the CFL, but they haven’t played a down. Maybe start with that? Until they do, they really don’t exist. Mitchell is despe...

Why is Rod Pedersen an expert source on this? This sounds more like speculation than facts.

Re: As predicted Canadian press love affair with the "Rock" is on the rocks

Ah, the usual suspect with another "**** on the new ownership because he wouldn't play a season NOW" hot take. Again. Let's review: the CFL was so close to collapse in the 1990s that it thought Shreveport and Birmingham were good places to put a professional football team. They lost Ottaw...

There are some complete idiots who tweet about the XFL on a far too regular basis. I see this board drove a few of them crazy. Good job.

Will the XFL lift their finger from the pause button?

With some sort of CFL merger talks going on, the XFL has declared their previously announced 2022 season was on “pause.” Does anyone think this may be temporary, and depending on the results of the talks with the CFL the XFL will resume their 2022 plans?

Re: TSL impact of XFL 2022 "Pause"

It’s the past business practices of Brian Woods that gives the TSL its weakness. That’s it for me. Crappy treatment of some players.

Re: TS: CFL could hit rock bottom with XFL

Plenty of frightened CFL fans over this. Not that I blame them. Too many unknowns.

The thing that burns my biscuits is how the new XFL owners promised many beautiful things and are now holding on for the CFL to come join them. What happened to all the promises?

Re: TSN - CFL TV deal

PolarBear/Yoda - Interesting? what then do you think is the XFL's motovation? Goal? in these talks then? 4th. I don’t have a clue what the XFL will get out of this. As you pointed out elsewhere, are they angling for a network deal that might come from an amalgamated league? This is the only thing I...
