Re: XFL players signing with NFL teams tracker

I'd actually prefer to see the Rock turn his XFL.into an indoor league to replace the old AFL. It's got NFL markets....all of them have major arenas.....the game is fast and entertaining.....and I miss it. It's a void that can't be filled by the tiny markets of the IFL. Do we really need another out...

Wanna scare your kids? The reason XFL doesn't come back would be something outside the sports or business realm......WWIII. Even then, it still might.

Re: XFL Expansion Poll: Fan Choice – Results

The Oakland Coliseum is just too much of a dinosaur now......I don't see the A's staying in the area if they don't get their new park. I actually think they should raze it and build on the same land because it's public transportation access is absolutely ideal ...it would need little infrastructure ...

Re: PJ Walker (XFL) in for Carolina

I saw......his time behind center resulted in consecutive handoffs to Mike Davis who busted a couple nice gains.....then an attempted swing pass into the flat went off course, I wondered if his XFL exploits were going to be in the conversation between Joe and Troy and he mentioned Temple.....his tim...

Re: The future of sports TV rights fees, and how it could affect the XFL

Then again.....playing football in July in places like Dallas and Houston could be brutal for players. Just ask anyone who played in the usfl when it's eighteen game schedule reached June and July and temps rose into the 90's. In the CFL it doesn't matter because it's Canada. So that's a reason why ...

Re: The future of sports TV rights fees, and how it could affect the XFL

This notion has been rejected on this board before.....but I'm bringing it up again. Enough if this having the season the week after the Super Bowl. Sure you're gonna have people who aren't finished with football after the fall NFL and college seasons, you'll always get that initial surge....but the...

Re: How many coaches will be back in 2022?

Maybe this is a little off topic.....but it was pointed out during last night's SF/LA game that kickers are favoring leaving the kickoffs short of the endzones to force the possibility of a quick turnover or to force bad field position. This more or less nullifies moving the kickoff up five yards to...

Re: The Spring League is playing in the Alamodome on FS1

If they do a documentary series involving the telling of personal tragedy stories such as you see on ninja warrior or the Rock's own titan games.....it'll go a long way in convincing me this isn't going to be a serious league. Just entertainment. I wouldn't bother.....nor will I watch.

Re: The Spring League is coming to Fox Sports

It looks to me like Fox Sports has moved on and found their alternative football product. Where does that leave Rock now?

Re: The Case for “Relocating” the Guardians to New Jersey

Look.....even the Red Bulls don't call themselves *New Jersey"....that despite the fact that New York City has it's own team. Assuming they could gain access to it, Red Bull arena has to be it. MetLife looked dreadful on TV....they should've at least made an effort to "shrink" it by tarping the uppe...
