I hope the Dragons have Steve Raible as part of their radio broadcast team; that would be awesome!

I can't see Raible on Dragons games....despite the fact that he and Zorn were teammates once.....I can see maybe Brock Huard if there's local.....he actually works the Seahawks preseason with Menafée.....or some young guy getting his first shot......I'd like Kevin Calabro myself.....the former Sonics voice has done football....he was the voice of NFL Fever on Xbox.....also the Sounders voice for their inaugual season in '09. Locally revered. But it'll still be NBA season and that's his wheelhouse.
Now that that the Hawks are over for this year....I'll be interested to monitor local sports radio to see if there's any increase in Dragons talk.

Increase? There's been local sports talk? Outside if an Oliver Luck interview? Was it a coach or player interview?

LAME by ESPN, major opportunity missed, a 15 second spot even?

That's not a good first sign (or lack of one).

I'm assuming there will be one during the Pro Bowl. Or at least there should be.

Oh it'll happen, they're about to drop large cash to get Romo (and it isn't for MNF--though it might be for a year). They want a Sunday package, and given that ABC hasn't done Sunday football (other the World League) since the USFL, that's where the XFL comes in. They don't do "Look. Football. Two days from now"

The XFL has to be really pleased with the level of coverage that they got during their rules release last Tuesday.

The league got a lot of positive coverage from mainstream media outlets. Oliver Luck did over a hundred interviews. Dean Blandino was also very busy. It was a positive week for the league in that respect.
St. Louis' ESPN outlet, the local shows have been talking it up very well. Especially the fast lane which is the evening rush show, that leads into the St. Louis Blues games when they play since that where the radio coverage is. I hear it at less once a week on there show some kind of talk about it.

Wait? Romo is being signed by ABC so he may do XFL games?
