Joe Cohen on Why The XFL Will Succeed This Time Around & More

I thought this quote from him was interesting:
On Vince McMahon’s vision for the XFL: “There are pendulum swings in this business. Timing is also everything. You’ll see more diversity with this XFL. Vince watches what goes on in society and really embraces that. This will speak to the 21st century.”
That's not what the Pro Wrestling Dirtsheets are saying about Vince McMahon.

I posted this LA times article here a couple of weeks ago.

My biggest takeaway was that Vince McMahon is going to leave all the producing of the league up to the networks. Cohen mentions how rare this is for McMahon, because he always been a hands on leader.

Cohen also mentioned how he helped put together the stadium deals. Vince McMahon’s recent meeting with Jerry Jones, and new innovations that The XFL is going to introduce, that he won’t reveal but has seen at recent research and develop testing, that the league has been conducting.

I read somewhere that Vince's recent meeting with Jerry Jones had more to do with AT&T Stadium wanting to host another WrestleMania than anything to do with the XFL.

No Cohen in the article that I posted here said that the meeting was about stadium ideas for football.

It's entirely possible that multiple topics came up.
