Re: Radio Affilates?

I am curious to see who the Renegades announce for their radio affiliate.

Re: Cordcutters Guide to the XFL

I understand reluctance for non-NFL markets like Memphis, Salt Lake City, Milwaukee, Raleigh, San Antonio, San Diego, Sacramento, Orlando, Portland and Columbus in the XFL, but it doesn't make them inferior markets. On the contrary. Those markets may not be NFL markets, but they are major league ma...

Re: Seattle leading ticket sales?

That’s all good, but there still seems to be plenty of tier 1-3 single game tickets and season tickets available. It would look a little odd to see the end zones 80%+ full, and midfield sections more than half empty. On television it's easier to keep those midfield seats off camera if need be. AAF ...

More positivity in media coverage for Renegades

The Fox Affiliate, KDFW 4 in Dallas has been very positive about the XFL, but so has a channel that is on a network that is not one of the XFL's TV Partners: KXAS 5, the NBC affiliate. Over the past few days, the Renegades have been getting brief mentions by NBC 5. Sports director Newy Scruggs talke...

Re: Pat McAfee working for the XFL part time

The report is that Pat McAfee will work the ESPN opening game with Dallas but will then not work weekly. ESPN’s Cole Cubelic is supposed to work the field analyst role when McAfee is off. I was really looking forward to McAfee being a weekly fixture for XFL games. He also works for WWE and there wi...

Re: Private Ownership vs League Ownership

We don't know what would happen to Alpha Entertainment, although it seems reasonable that it would transfer to his wife. Obviously, getting closer to self-sustainability and/or diversification in ownership will increase the league's chances of outliving Vince. The word is once Vince McMahon bites t...

Re: Private Ownership vs League Ownership

I believe that Russell Wilson is also involved bringing the NBA back to Seattle. The NBA has said that they don't plan on expanding anytime soon. The feeling is that the NBA probably won't expand until they sign a new CBA, which doesn't expire until after the 2023-2024 season but an opt out after 2...

Re: Private Ownership vs League Ownership

If the XFL were to go the MLS route with ownership, any prospective owners need to be financially stable. In fact, I would pursue NBA, MLS, NHL and/or MLB owners for the teams. I would pick these owners: Dallas Renegades- MLB's Texas Rangers DC Defenders- MLS DC United Houston Roughnecks- MLS Houst...
