the way things are falling a part in this country, it's best that the XFL not return.

Re: Is Vince McMahon trying to covertly buy his own bankrupt XFL?

Um how do you think they had a "crowd" on RAW? (Which of course the AEW marks are taking credit for and is totally bordering on Jesse Ventura Story-style parody) Besides they had an employee test positive at the Wrestlemania taping. Maybe he's just guessing (and of a course the unnamed XFL player w...

Re: Is Vince McMahon trying to covertly buy his own bankrupt XFL?

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/05/26/vince-mcmahon-says-hes-not-a-bidder-to-buy-xfl/ Of course he said similar in Oct 2000 when WCW was for sale (also took a perfect ****storm for that to happen). This could also be to shut all the Meltzers and other whiny columnists up (well, the attem...

Re: OL, Week 6, VM and the XFL bankruptcy

This is a rumor, not fact yet......but there is a speculation that Vince may be entertaining the idea of selling WWE to ESPN/Fox. This is not the "Khan buys AAF" rumor of a month ago. If it were true, maybe that includes the XFL as well. That's false. ESPN and Fox have only expressed interest in WW...

Re: How could XFL comeback from Bankruptcy?

Too soon a question? or too late? LOL Possible buyers? A) FOX and/or Disney? B) A billionaire like Tom Dundon? C) VM himself D) a mix of the above Here's the irony - Tom Dundon closed the AAF mainly cause he didn't want to compete for players with better Funded XFL, so he needed NFL practice squad ...

Read the full article https://www.xflnewshub.com/columns/nfl-ownership-oliver-lucks-termination-lawsuit-details-league-legacy/ >>>> According to sources close to the situation, Vince McMahon did not want to suspend play at that point. Re: XFL Terminates All Employees

Seems to me they made this move for a possible few reasons 1. To Conserve their finances most importantly, they don't need to staff workers for the XFL anymore if they switch to Primary investor of MLFB and Tony Khan. Its like merging and having cutbacks. 2. XFL is no more but will return as a bigg...

Re: XFL's Future

In my opinion, the future of the XFL lies in three areas: 1. How lengthy and damaging will the COVID-19 crisis be? 2. When will the world economy recover? 3. Will Vince McMahon want to try it again? Mark 1. In sports? So much so that there could be mass relocations/contractions when the major sport...

Re: XFL Terminates All Employees

The thing would be, lets say 2021 sports gets back to normal. Season starts running normally again. How fast would it take for Vince to get the XFL going again. Would we need as much time to look to 2023? Or can it be done for a 2022? If they are not coming back in 2021, they are not coming back at...
