The Panthers have traded QB Kyle Allen to Washington, eliminating one obstacle in Walker’s way of making the team.

Tom Pelissero is reporting multiple teams have interest in St. Louis QB Jordan Ta’amu, who could sign today.

XFL players signing with NFL teams tracker

XFL players were eligible to sign with NFL teams beginning at 9am this morning. First up: Houston QB PJ Walker signed with Carolina and will play for his old college coach, Matt Rhule. Walker will compete with Kyle Allen and Will Grier to back up (or maybe even compete with) Teddy Bridgewater. Seatt...

Re: BREAKING: Season canceled.

In case people weren't feeling secure enough in the XFL's announcement yesterday about assurances that they'll play in 2021, this is a Tweet from Jake Russell, who covers the Defenders, quoting league CEO Jeffrey Pollack: I'm told there's an all-hands meeting b/t #XFL HQ and team FOs and one of the ...

Re: Doom and gloomers out in full force

Letting the stars born on the platform you've created walk away is dangerous as well. Definitely a balancing act. I'm a little surprised you think quarterbacks won't respond to money. That's not really how we see it play out in the CFL, is it? What kind of contract do we think Walker is going to co...

Re: Doom and gloomers out in full force

1. Keep P.J. Walker at all costs If an NFL team(s) wants Walker, why would he want to stay in the XFL? Money. That's how the CFL keeps their quarterbacks. That would be a dangerous game for the XFL to play, increasing salaries for QBs or whomever just to try to keep them out of the NFL. Especially ...

Re: Week 5 TV ratings

You can pretty much throw out next week’s St. Louis vs. TB ratings on FS2. Limited reach and I believe the only game on the schedule to air there.

Re: Game Thread: Tampa Bay Vipers @ LA Wildcats Sun 8-Mar-20 9PM ET on ESPN

Final attendance: 12,181 Basically flat from last week. Attendance seems to have stabilized. Couple wins on the road and that # might jump a bit. The crowd seemed live and into the game. The Wildcats were very entertaining last night on and off the field. Not appropriate for television at points, b...

Re: Coronavirus & XFL

The NBA, NHL, MLS, and MLB issued a joint statement today closing their locker rooms to the media (and other non-essential personnel) until further notice to prevent the spread of disease. We’ll see if the XFL follows suit or takes any other precautionary measures. Would’ve been nice to see those l...
