Re: Article From The Athletic Gives Insight Into Ticket Sales

Red Bull Arena could work, but then you will have New York Red Bulls fans complaining about football ruining their field. Expect that from DC United fans about Audi Field this year. They will complain about the XFL ruining their field.

Re: Article From The Athletic Gives Insight Into Ticket Sales

I am curious to see what Globe Life Park is going to look like as a football stadium outside of the artist rendering. It's probably going to look weird. The local media around here is like "why didn't the Renegades go for another stadium?" Many have said that TCU, SMU, North Texas and Toyota Stadium...

The WWE's main home in NYC is in Brooklyn these days at the Barclay's Center. MSG has been open to allowing more non WWE wrestling events there.

Re: Article From The Athletic Gives Insight Into Ticket Sales

New York might be an issue. February home games are going to be brutal. Nov-Dec can be bad enough. Guardian fans will be able to join Jets and Giants fans in cursing the idiots that designed this stadium without a convertible roof By the time the weather becomes bearable, they will have to compete ...

Re: Article From The Athletic Gives Insight Into Ticket Sales

Interesting stuff, Metallifreak. So using the Demons (1.75) and Outlaws (3.0) for ratios of STHs to average attendance, here would be the ranges we're looking at using your projections: STL 26,250-45,000 DAL 17,500-30,000 SEA 17,500-30,000 HOU 13,125-22,500 TBV 12,250-21,000 DC 10,500-18,000 NY 8,7...

Re: ST. LOUIS NAMES CHUCK LONG OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR

Sounds like Doug Meacham is ditching the team to go back to TCU. If he isn’t willing to commit to at least one season, why take the job in the first place? Screw that guy. I have to agree. Especially a month before the season begins. It’s the kind of thing that would be bittersweet if the XFL blows...

New York has got to have the weirdest and most toxic sports media scene in the country.
They bashed the Giants for hiring Joe Judge, with the main reaction being "who the hell is that?"

Re: The mainstream sports media coverage of the XFL

If I had to guess the radio station doing Renegades games, I would think it's Sportsradio 1310 the Ticket. They don't cover the XFL much at all, but when they do, it's usually positive. Plus, it helps that they have two hosts, Craig Miller and Corby Davidson with ties to OU (they didn't go to OU the...

Re: Landry Jones out 4-6 weeks after injuring left knee in practice

Ah, that sucks. Hope Luke Falk's cell phone is on and fully charged. Philip Nelson sure knows how to pick his backup jobs though. I suppose my crazy suggestion of coaxing Sam Bradford into the league wouldn’t be viable. Perhaps if Landry’s injury was season ending. We can forget about Johnny Manzie...
