It's different than say Houston that has something unique like NASA to draw from.

A lot of names are out there that are great, like Stampede. I'm a fan of that.

I'm also thinking of names like Ranchers, Tycoons, and the Dallas Drive.
Tycoons is a funny name. I'd love to see that logo. You are right about western themes.

Frankly, I'm only in my 30s but I can't think of Dallas without thinking of the show and JR Ewing.

As a logo I picture something akin to a grinning man with a cowboy hat and holding the lapels of his suit.

That's more of a joke than a real suggestion.

Agreed on the Texas/Western theme for the mascot.

Thought about the Dallas Desperados for a sec, but then the dumb song kept popping into the noggin.(damn it Don Henley)

I'm partial to the "Dallas Wranglers" (see A11fl) or "Dallas Vipers" (rep. animal).

Could imagine the tie-in with the Jeans, western wear (lol).

I don't think they will unveil any team names and logos until the remaining head coaches are announced.
