Kurt Warner working out with Luis Perez and The Wildcats

Post by LeoNY » Thu Nov 21, 2019 11:35 am

Last week. The LA Wildcats released videos and photos of Luis Perez working out with Rashad Ross, Johnny Stanton, while Offensive Coordinator Norm Chiw coached them up. The videos were available on the Wildcats Instagram feed.

This week, Luis Perez, Nelson Spruce and Rashad Ross went down to Phoenix to work with Kurt Warner on the field and off. This is pretty cool to see.

Perez seems super serious about this. Essentially his time in the AAF was like his rookie season as a pro starter. He had some ups and downs. Perez needs to improve. Getting together with his receivers and Norm Chow to work out on the field last week was great. Now working with Warner and his projected two top targets in Nelson Spruce and Rashad Ross is very smart.

Interesting to see Kurt Warner help an LA quarterback. The BattleHawks should be all over this getting Warner to help Jordan Ta’amu.

It’s great to see. It would be nice if Kurt Warner had some involvement with the St. Louis BattleHawks.

Luis Perez is saying and doing all the right things so far. He’s gotta produce on the field but he’s off to a good start in his role as a leader.

I am a bit surprised that the Battlehawks haven't reached out to Warner, Isaac Bruce, Orlando Pace or Torry Holt.

What’s funny is that St. Louis has former Ram Grant Williams listed as their assistant offensive line coach/alumni relations. Az Hakim is the teams receivers coach. So there’s definitely connections to past St. Louis Rams. Perhaps we do see some of those greats ties into the BattleHawks as we get closer to the season.
