2020 Season Schedule

Post by Regular Joe » Sat Sep 07, 2019 11:26 pm

When? I want to book reservations. Buy a ticket. Where am I going? Hoping to root for Houston in LA week 1. Assuming Johnny Football, if not...

Vipers president Josh Bullock said a few days ago the season schedule should be released this month, which is when season tickets will go on sale.
It's time to roar

That would be reasonable to assume and right on pace with how the NFL does things, releasing the schedule about five months before the first game.

Which will be interesting what they come up with

Seattle, DC, and LA all have shared fields. The Dig has often had 15-hour Galaxy/Chargers turnarounds so that might not be much of an issue, there's never been any at CLink (the Seahawks and Sounders usually have at least a day or two in between, and the only other ones have been college-to-pro when UW played there in 2011-12 while Husky Stadium was being renovated). Audi Field's only been open for over a year and the United is the only main tenant so that's TBD. But obviously they wouldn't wait until MLS schedule comes out, which this past year was January 7.

Then there's conventions (SEA and STL), TB will have a road date for Wrestlemania 36, HOU will have a road game whenever UH has their spring game (or possibly host a Thurs night game), even baseball where both SEA and DAL either share complexes or are right across the street (granted the Cowboys stopped deferring to the Rangers a few years ago, but we're also talking a five billion dollar franchise)

Lotta moving parts
