Great article, I would go with smaller venues, especially that have MLS stadiums, and don't have NFL teams. San Jose, Salt Lake City, Orlando, Portland and Columbus for sure.

My guess would be next fall, during the football season. However, I think this summer you will hear about the people responsible running the league. Will be interesting to see who is chosen.
