Re: Oliver Luck talks #XFL gimmicks, head trauma, the AAF and gambling

As far as XFL news is concerned, this is the best I could do. :D

Luck made some interesting points here, such as referring to football as a "religion" and the stadium as a "cathedral."

Re: Johnny Manziel signs agreement with AAF

I watched a lot of Manziel in Montreal; it went better than most people seem to think. I watched too. When he started in Montreal, there was a buzz as everyone wanted to see what he was going to do. And you are right, he didn't do much at first. But I think television rating were excellent. When he...

Re: Johnny Manziel signs agreement with AAF

I saw how the AAF broadcast crew talked about Manziel at the Orlando-Arizona halftime. They talked about his Heisman winning form, and his ability to stay mobile and run the ball. Re: Prediction:Neither Manziel or Kaepernick will play in any league

Without some interesting news from the XFL all we have is media pondering whether these players will be hired. I agree that they probably won't get hired by anyone.

Re: Your Call Football

As for the YCF App, I'm sure the XFL is looking at the technology, and interested in how they address the problem of latency between the app and live game play. An interesting aspect of the App is how when the cameras panned to the in-house audience, nobody was watching the game. They were all looki...

If the league gains its footing, I don't think it will be a big deal to introduce them. But for Year 1, stay laser focused on quality of play, pace of play, selling tickets, and producing an excellent broadcast. Everything else is a distraction.
I think you nailed it here.

Re: XFL Cheerleaders

I agree, most people go to a football game to see football; more importantly to see their team win. But, I've been to football games where the cheerleaders attracted a lot of attention... mostly from male spectators. How often does this happen? All the time. :)
